For my Core 3 Cyberculture final project, I explored one of the most profound Internet companies to date: Google. Through this investigation, I have mapped out, from my perspective, the top five most important new products Google has launched: Google Glass, Google Lens, Calico, Self-Driving Cars, and Project Loon. On this website, I have documented Google’s history as an emerging creator of global goods, the incipient products, the creators of those products, and the responses that these life-altering inventions have received from the general public. This comprehensive analysis will give you an introduction to Google’s emerging products and how they may shape the world.
Along with this research, there is also a blog page, which will show you up-to-date examples of how these five Google products are being received and analyzed by their viewers through videos and news articles that critique Google’s latest ventures.
