Capturing the imagination of the general public, many people have become excited and hopeful about Calico’s emerging research. While not much has been released about what specifically Calico will do, Calico is charging ahead and one of Google’s founders, Larry Page, has linked Calico to solving the big picture problems in medicine that he believes can be related to recent technological advancements (41).
