Arthur Levinson
Levinson is the current CEO of Google’s Calico. Gaining an education from the University of Washington and Princeton University, Levinson quickly went on to become a research scientist at Gentech, a health research organization owned by Roche. After twenty years at Gentech, Levinson became the chairman and CEO of the company. While winning awards such as the James Madison Medal award, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Double Helix Medal, and Business Week’s Best Manager of the Year, Levinson has gone on to become chairman of the board at Apple Inc. in 2011, replacing Steve Jobs, and eventually in January 2013, accepted the position of CEO at Google’s Calico where he is also on the board of directors (12). Levinson continues to contribute the technology industry as one of the leading men in the business.
